These may include things such as cleaning, decorating, refinishing, and other such labors. These are the projects that don’t need all that much capital, and yet can make a huge difference to the overall appearance of your house.

Before starting any fix-up-for-sale tasks, get in the frame of mind that you are sprucing up your house for selling. Don’t think of it as sprucing it up for someone else. You’re merely attempting to make more of an attractive look not a perfect home.

If you fix up the home with a certain person in mind, you’re decreasing the size of your market. Limiting your market will usually mean a slower sale, and a reduced selling price.
