Selling Your RV

You may have decided to part with that much loved RV that has been a part of your families vacations for many a year. Whatever type of RV you have, whether it’s a camper, a motorhome or a luxury van, take a look at the tips below before you put up the for sale sign.

When preparing to sell, it’s a good idea to have any proof of service history to hand including any receipts. A regularly serviced RV is a much better prospect for a potential buyer. If you have just one or two small dents, it may be worth getting them done along with any other small niggles your RV may have, before you sell. Small repairs often pay back with a quicker sale or even higher price. Advertising your RV with a clean bill of health will surely add to increase the interest from buyers.

Service the RV before the sale. That way potential buyers know that they should not have to part with any extra cash for a while. After you have decided on a selling price and placed your advertisement, make sure that you have all the vehicles documents in a folder ready for the potential new owner to inspect.

Following the above general selling advice should help you get off to a good start when you have decided to sell your RV.
